Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh will lead a Vietnamese delegation to the high-level general debate of the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, the United States, from September 21-25.

The general debate is scheduled to last from September 20 – 26.
On the sidelines of the meeting, Deputy PM Pham Binh Minh will meet with leaders of a number of participating countries.
The 77th session of the UN General Assembly opened at the UN headquarters on September 13 themed “A watershed moment: transformative solutions to interlocking challenges.”
The meeting is taking place at a critical moment due to complex and interconnected crises, including the COVID-19 pandemic, the Ukraine conflict, humanitarian challenges, climate change threats and economic fallout globally.
It is therefore necessary to find and focus on joint solutions to these crises and build a more sustainable and resilient world for all and for the generations to come.
