The scene of the accident
According to a report from Thanh Hoa Police, the accident occurred at 5.30 am on February 3 when the car crashed into a passenger bus running in the opposite direction in Nong Cong District.
Hoang Anh, 49, drove the car, transporting his wife, Kieu Thi, 41, and their two children, ages 16 and nine.
The intense crash left all four people seriously injured, and the two children died while on the way to the hospital. The couple were transferred to a higher-level hospital for better treatment.
Meanwhile, the bus passenger driver, 47-year-old Nguyen Tien Luc, had no injuries.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
