According to the Southern Regional Hydro-Meteorological Centre, HCM City will experience two cold spells in the first ten days of February. However, temperatures will gradually rise from mid-February, and some areas will experience the first heatwave of the year, reaching highs of 35 degrees Celsius.

By late February, hot weather will still affect several areas in HCM City, but for longer durations. Toward the end of the month, widespread heat may also hit the city centre for a few days.
The average temperature in HCM City in February is expected to range between 26.8 and 28 degrees Celsius, with the lowest temperatures generally between 22 and 25 degrees Celsius.
February would see higher-than-average rainfall compared to the long-term norm. Notably, rainfall during the middle and last weeks of the month could surpass the average by 20-50 percent.
