Thousands of strange birds have ravaged paddy fields in the central province of Ha Tinh
According to local authorities, the birds are likely wild ducks. So far, they have destroyed about one hectare of rice fields belonging to dozens of households.
The same situation has been reported in Hoa Hai Commune, Huong Khe District. Recently, local farmers have lit oil lamps in the fields at night to drive them away.
