Searchers found three bodies on November 20.
A representative of the Tam Nong District told Dantri/Dtinews on Wednesday morning that they found two bodies at 7 am, some six kilometres and one other some 35 kilometres from the site where they went missing.
According to a report from the Phu Tho Provincial Police Department, six 8th-grade students of Hien Quan Secondary School went to the Red River to swim at 4 pm on November 18 while on their way home from school.
The three girls and three boys were then trapped in a whirlpool. A boy managed to swim back to shore while five others were swept away.
Rescue forces arrived soon after, and they found the body of a girl at 7 pm that night. Another body was found on Tuesday afternoon some 20 kilometres from their swimming place.

Many family members, relatives, and friends of the victims gathered at the site to wait for the search and pray for them.
