This morning, June 14, a family in Lang Thip Commune in Van Yen District was levelling the ground to build a new house when they suddenly saw the bomb.
The bom weighs around 340 kilos is found at a construction site in Yen Bai Province on June 14.
After being informed, local authorities cordoned off the area where the bomb was discovered to ensure safety.
The bomb is measured 1.20 metres in length and has a diameter of 41 cm.
Van Yen District’s authorities are planning the disposal of the bomb.
