Organisers said on May 29 that tourism activity in the central coastal city had picked up significantly in the lead-up to the festival.
According to local accommodation providers, occupancy rates at beachfront hotels have reached between 85 per cent and 95 per cent, up more than 10 per cent from the same period last year.

The opening night on May 30 has attracted strong interest from visitors and residents, with only a limited number of tickets remaining for the competition between hosts Danang and defending champions China.
First launched in 2008 to mark the anniversary of Danang's liberation, the event was rebranded as the Danang International Fireworks Festival in 2017 and has since been organised with private-sector support from Sun Group.
DIFF 2026 will feature 10 international teams competing across five qualifying nights, combining fireworks displays with cultural performances, technology and light shows.
Germany and Macau will compete on June 20 under the theme "Innovation", followed by Australia and Portugal on June 27 under the theme "Vision". The festival will conclude with the final on July 11.
According to organisers, DIFF 2026 will feature its largest stage to date, including a movable arch structure spanning more than 40 metres and standing over 10 metres high.
