On April 24, Nguyen Thanh Tuan Anh, deputy director of Area 1 Investment Project Management Board, said the unit was completing final procedures to begin construction of the technical infrastructure and cultural park project at Thuan An Beach.
The project is expected to be completed after around 18 months of construction.

Built on a 1.42-hectare site, the development will include a public square and park as its main features.
The square will cover more than 5,000 square metres and will be paved with granite, combined with green spaces, lighting systems and synchronised water supply and drainage infrastructure.

A 190-metre seawall made from prestressed concrete piles will also be built to protect the project area.
The park will span more than 3,400 square metres and be divided into two functional zones.
The first zone will include a service building with public toilets, a parking area, rest spaces, stone-paved grounds and lawns.
The second zone will serve as an outdoor community area with paved courtyards, parking spaces, trees and landscape lighting.
Thuan An Beach is located about 13km from central Hue and has long been considered one of the city’s most beautiful beaches, known for its clear water and open coastal scenery.
However, the area has not fully realised its tourism potential in recent years due to limited transport infrastructure and a lack of public spaces for visitors.
As part of Hue’s strategy to expand urban development towards the sea, local authorities have launched several key projects.
Among them, the coastal road passing through Thuan An Beach is seen as a major highlight, featuring a bridge crossing the Thuan An estuary stretching more than 2.36km, which is expected to open to traffic around April 30.
