A representative from HCM City-based Vietluxtour said that tours to Phu Quoc, Danang, Phan Thiet, Sam Son, and Ha Long Bay have been in the highest demand.

Phu Quoc Island in Kien Giang Province draws tourists with its unique marine ecosystem and high-end resorts, while Danang boasts a pleasant climate and a wide range of entertainment activities.

Tran Van Linh, head of the Tourism Management Board under the Kien Giang Department of Tourism, said that most high-quality accommodations in the province, particularly in Phu Quoc, had already been fully reserved for the holiday.

BenThanh Tourist reported that many tours to domestic destinations, including Phu Quoc, Quy Nhon, and Phan Thiet, have been entirely occupied. Amid soaring airfares, some tourists have opted to travel by boat to save on costs.

Meanwhile, heritage-rich cities such as Hue, Hanoi, and Hoi An have continued to lure visitors seeking cultural and historical experiences.

In the north, destinations such as Thanh Hoa, Moc Chau, Quang Binh, and Ha Long are drawing more visitors thanks to their easy access and stunning natural beauty.

Currently, round-trip airfares from Ho Chi Minh City to Phu Quoc range from VND3–5 million, while fares for the Hanoi-Phu Quoc route are between VND6.5-10 million. Travellers from HCM City and the Mekong Delta can choose from high-speed boats or ferries to Phu Quoc, with travel time ranging from 2.5 to 3.5 hours.
