Local authorities dismantle illegal stalls in Mui Ne
Local officials said on August 26 that vendors had set up temporary shacks at Mui Ne Fishing Village, Long Son Suoi Nuoc Beach and other sites, spoiling the landscape and affecting the tourism image.
From July 10 to August 20, authorities twice ordered residents to remove the structures voluntarily, but many failed to comply. A joint task force, including police and tourism management units, was then mobilised to enforce removal.

Alongside administrative measures, officials are promoting awareness campaigns to prevent future encroachment and build Mui Ne as a clean, safe and sustainable national destination.
