On August 21, the Gia Lai Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said the province had targeted 4.4 million visitors and revenue of VND 11,160 billion (approximately USD 448 million) in the second half of 2025, along with new tourism products.
In addition to key transport and industrial projects, investors are expanding into urban and resort developments. The developer has signed agreements with international partners, expecting these projects to become new landmarks that elevate Gia Lai on the global tourism map.
In Pleiku, provincial authorities have approved the CK54 urban project, covering nearly 202 hectares with a planned investment of more than VND 17,200 billion (approximately USD 690 million).
Plans include 60 detached villas, 826 semi-detached villas, 84 golf-course villas, nearly 600 townhouses and social housing units, plus hotels, restaurants, convention and exhibition centres, shopping villages, and a golf course.
In the first half of 2025, Gia Lai welcomed about 7.5 million visitors, up 15 per cent from the same period in 2024, generating nearly VND 17,400 billion (approximately USD 698 million) in tourism revenue, a 14 per cent increase year-on-year.
