People in Ha Tinh hand over rare animals
People in the central province of Ha Tinh’s Huong Khe District have handed over rare animals to the local police.
On September 13, Ngo Xuan Dieu from Ha Linh Commune handed over a 4-kilo manouria impressa. The tortoise is a rare and endangered species. It was taken to Vu Quang National Park to be released into the wild.

The rare animals handed over to the police in Ha Tinh
One day later, Nguyen Van Tuan from Huong Lam Commune also transferred two rare turtles to police, including one southern Vietnamese box turtle or cuora picturata. These were sent to Cuc Phuong National Park for preservation.
A rare white-cheeked gibbon and a rhesus macaque were also recently handed over to Vu Quang National Park in Ha Tinh.
