National tourism photograph contest launched
The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) on January 11 launched its sixth nationwide tourism photograph contest, themed “Vietnam: Endless Beauty”.
VNAT Deputy General Director Hoang Thi Diep and many photographers and reporters were present at the ceremony.
The organising board said every entry submitted advertises Vietnam’s tourism. Each should therefore reflect the country’s diverse lifestyles, natural resources, historical relics, craft villages, and traditional festivals.
Entries must be single colour or black and white photographs with dimensions either 30x40cm or 30x45cm. Print numbers cannot be limited.
The organising board will be licensed to use entries for Vietnamese tourism promotional campaigns.
Entries should be sent to Vietnam Tourism Magazine at 30A Ly Thuong Kiet Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi; or Vietnamese Association of Photographic Artists at 51 Tran Hung Dao Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi. The final deadline for entries is May 31, 2013.
The contest’s awards ceremony and exhibition will be held in July 2013, celebrating the 53rd anniversary of the tourism industry.
