According to the National Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting, the storms will occur in the last ten days of September.

Earlier, Mai Van Khiem, director of the National Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting, said that the East Sea would experience 6-8 storms between September and December, with 3-4 likely to affect Vietnam directly.
The National Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting said Typhoon Benica, which is approaching China, was not predicted to enter Vietnam.
On September 15-17, northern localities, particularly Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Phu Tho, Quang Ninh, and Haiphong will see rain, with the highest daily rainfall of over 50mm.
The central region would struggle with the flooding mainly from October to November.
The Red River's water level has receded but remained relatively high. Therefore, many areas by the river are still experiencing inundation.
