Typhoon Yagi killed 22 people and injured 1,600 others in Quang Ninh and damaged more than 70,000 houses.

In Bai Chay Ward in Ha Long City, many houses, hotels and restaurants have been affected.

Restaurant owners in Bai Chau are hiring people to clear debris following the storm.

Do Van Bac, 50, is fixing his 1,000-square-metre restaurant, which would cost VND5 billion. "Our restaurant generates jobs for around 30 people. If we can't recover, they will lose their jobs. We hope to get some financial support from authorities to help ease difficulties," Bac added.
