Train service SE7 suddenly braked at around 6:04 pm on Monday while moving into Saigon Station after being caught up in fibre optic cables on Nguyen Kiem Street in Go Vap District.

Nguyen Kiem Street is a main route linking Go Vap and Phu Nhuan districts to the city centre. The train blocked the road, resulting in severe congestion.
After the incident, the train crew co-operated with relevant departments to solve the problem. Around 30 minutes later, the train resumed its journey.
