Fourteen crewmembers await rescue after fishing boat sinks
The Binh Thuan Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control and Search and Rescue is deploying teams to rescue 14 crewmembers of a fishing boat that sank off 92 nautical miles (178km) from Phu Quy Island on Monday morning.

According to the committee, the boat sank at 3.30 am on November 20 and the 14 crewmembers were holding on to the floating part of the boat.
"The sinking boat area is facing bad weather with strong wind and high waves," the committee said. "We've called upon concerned agencies and other boats operating in the area to save the crew."
According to reports the boat departed Tam Quan Port in Hoai Nhon Town on November 3.
