Metal fences set up at Quang Ngai General Hospital
By March 17, the fences have been erected at the seven-floor main building, while the work has been continued on the remaining buildings of Quang Ngai General Hospital.
Between June 2016 and February 2017, many patients tried to commit suicide from the hospital buildings. Among those, six people died and one injured, while others were prevented by security guards.
The hospital director Pham Ngoc Lan said that the fences cost around VND1.4 billion (USD63,636).
According to Lam, all exits and entries of the hospital will be protected by security guards.
