The morning rain lasted for hours in Binh Duong, turning lots of local roads into rivers.
The road linking to the waste treatment system in Dinh Hoa Ward in Thu Dau Mot City was inundated by 60cm. People even used nets to catch fish on the road.
The road is near Giua Stream; proving very dangerous for people to use due to serious flooding.
Many vehicles stalled when travelling through the flooded road section.
Ho Van Cong Road in Tuong Binh Hiep Ward, Thu Dau Mot City, faced the same problem this morning. The one-kilometre section running through two hospitals was left deep under water.
Local security had to help people to travel through the flooded areas.
At least four cars stalled when attempting to pass through the flooded section.
The water on the road showed no signs of receding until 11 am the same day.
