The second science film festival in Vietnam will take place from November 8-30 with the screening of films at schools throughout the country.

With the theme of water, the festival will bring 20 international films to students at high schools and universities in more than 10 cities and provinces nationwide as well as at the Goethe Institute in Hanoi.
This event also takes place in Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines and Thailand.
The move is aimed to encourage young people to research and discover scientific phenomena and improve their awareness of global environment.
The selected films will focus on natural science, life science and technology, environment and ecology, and family entertainment.
The festival will be launched at Hanoi’s Nguyen Binh Khiem High School on November 8.
The Goethe Institute Hanoi will present selected films from November 8-11. It will also hold a “Green weekend” for families and students from November 10-11.
The festival in Vietnam will be jointly held by Goethe Institute Hanoi, the Centre for Research Support and Development of Culture, and the centre of Live and Learn for Environment and Community (Live & Learn).
