To earn the right to represent the country, Vietnamese players must go through a rigorous selection process. The in-game Challenger Series qualifiers were held in February. Results from Round 3 (Ranking) will serve as the key basis for the Vietnam Recreational and Electronic Sports Association (VIRESA) in selecting candidates.
VIRESA works in coordination with KONAMI and FIFA to implement the national team selection process. The final squad will be determined based on competition results and professional criteria. Updates on the official roster and competition schedule will be published through VIRESA’s official channels.
The FIFAe World Cup 2026 is the official esports tournament organised by the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), bringing together national representatives competing in eFootball. FIFA, in cooperation with KONAMI, organises a global competition system that enables national football associations to evaluate and select their official players.
