The race will be part of the celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of Vietnam’s National Day (September 2), providing an opportunity for the younger generation to reflect on Vietnam's 80-year journey of national construction and development. It will also showcase the country's spirit of unity and its aspirations for progress moving into the new era.
In addition to its historical significance, the race is positioned as a Green Race, promoting sustainability and environmental responsibility. With technical support from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) through the National Plastic Action Partnership (NPAP), the event encourages participants to embrace eco-conscious habits while supporting a healthier and greener Vietnam.
The race is anticipated to attract professional and semi-professional athletes, as well as tourists, who will compete in four distance various categories - 42km (2,500 runners), 21km (4,000 runners), 9.2km (4,500 runners), and 2.9km (9,000 runners).
The organisers will distribute Race Kits from 9.00 am to 10.00 pm on August 22 - 23.
