Parents in Ha Tinh Province is calling for support to help them treat their three children which are all suffering from illnesses.

The first child of Le Thi Thanh and Bui Van Nga exhibited strange behaviour fron when he was over a year old and was diagnosed with schizophrenia. Thanh and Nga borrowed money for treatment with hope that their child's condition might improve but had to return to their hometown after falling deeper into poverty.
The couple have two more children but one child has rickets and the other has congenital heart disease.

"Some nights the kids would be in pain at the same time and we didn't know what to do for them," Thanh said, "They're innocent children, why do they have to bear such illness and pain?"
Thanh and Nga are given small monthly allowances for their children. However,the money is too little to buy medicines for three kids and the couple have had borrowed millions of VND over the years so they are unable to afford heart surgery.
"We’ve just left it all to fate as we can't see any way out. Now we can only pour all our love on them," Thanh said.
