Under the zoo's discount programme, all visitors wearing Ao Dai, regardless of gender, will receive a 50 percent discount on admission throughout March. On International Women's Day (March 8), those dressed in Ao Dai will enjoy free entry.

The move aims to encourage more people to wear Ao Dai, helping to preserve and promote Vietnam's traditional cultural values.
Established in 1864, the Saigon Zoo and Botanical Garden is among the oldest zoos in the world. It is home to over 2,000 animals from 135 species, including rare ones like the crested argus, black-shanked douc langur, yellow-cheeked gibbon and clouded leopard.
The zoo also accommodates more than 2,500 trees and over 900 plant species, creating a lush green oasis in the heart of the city.
