Lonely Planet also gave a brief introduction to the lantern street which is remarkably preserved in Hoi An, stating that it looks as magical as ever and is one of the most memorable places that tourists can visit.
Along with strolling the warmly lit alleyways of the atmospheric main streets lined with dozens of cafes and boutiques, as well as enjoying epic sunsets, Hoi An is famous for its range of outlets selling custom-made clothes.
There are more than 300 tailor shops there, with some even calling it the tailoring capital of the world, the travel guide shared.
The website also suggested tourists cycle through the countryside roads and pass through rice fields, markets, and craft workshops to enjoy a magical atmosphere there.
Topping the list is Luang Prabang in Laos, which is mentioned as a nostalgic town that sits beside the mighty Mekong. Bangkok, one of the world’s most atmospheric cities in Thailand, as well as Angkor Wat, a Hindu-Buddhist temple complex in Cambodia, make the top 3.
