In Vietnam, Apple has set the starting price of the iPhone Duo at VND 65 million (USD 2,500) for the 256GB version. Models with larger storage capacities are priced at VND 71.5 million (USD 2,750) for 512GB, VND 84.5 million (USD 3,250) for 1TB and VND 104 million (USD 4,000) for the 2TB version.

Vietnamese customers will be able to place pre-orders from 7 pm on October 16, with deliveries scheduled to begin on October 23.

The iPhone Duo marks Apple's entry into the foldable smartphone segment, a market long dominated by rivals such as Samsung and Huawei. The device features a book-style folding design and is positioned as a premium productivity-focused handset.

When fully unfolded, the handset offers a 7.6-inch Super Retina XDR display, around 50 per cent larger than the screen of the iPhone 18 Pro Max. When folded, users can interact with a 5.4-inch external Super Retina XDR display.

Apple says the device combines the functionality of a smartphone and a compact tablet, with support for advanced multitasking features and up to 2TB of storage.
