Vietnamese video producer and content creator Nguyen Sieu has been selected by Forbes Magazine.
This comes after Forbes magazine announced a list of 30 standout individuals under the age of 30 who are working in many different fields and creating a positive influence in both their professions and their respective fields of activity.
Accordingly, Nguyen Sieu represents the only Vietnamese national to be named in the list. He was honoured in Marketing & Advertising.
Born in Hanoi, Sieu was offered scholarships from seven prestigious universities, including Yale-NUS College in Singapore, Tufts University, and Oberlin College, all of which are ranked among the top 30 universities in the United States. He ultimately attended Vassar College in the US, receiving a scholarship worth US$208,000 over the course of four years.
Sieu has seven years of experience working in the US television industry, spending four and a half years at Paramount Pictures and two and a half years at HBO.
According to Forbes, Sieu is a writer and producer on HBO Max's marketing audio-visual team, where he helps to conceptualise, write, produce, and edit promotional videos for HBO Max shows.
This content includes trailers, behind-the-scenes content, and social videos for hits such as "Euphoria," "The Idol," "Hacks," "The Sympathizer," "The White Lotus," and more.
He has produced more than 40 marketing projects, garnering 37 million views across social platforms. The Vietnamese producer also has a 2024 Primetime Emmy Nomination for "Outstanding Short Form Nonfiction or Reality Series" for his "Hacks: Bit by Bit" behind-the-scenes featurette; a 2022 Clio Entertainment Award for "Television Series: Original Content" for the "Enter Euphoria" behind-the-scenes campaign, on which he produced the fifth episode.
