Work on the project is scheduled to be completed in June 2028.

Dai Ngai 1 Bridge will be the third cable-stayed bridge to cross the Hau River, along with the Can Tho and Vam Cong bridges. The Project Management Unit 85 under the Ministry of Transport funds the project.

According to a representative of Deo Ca Group, the contractor consortium has fully prepared the necessary workforce and equipment for the bridge construction. The Dai Ngai 1 Bridge will be built using the latest construction methods.
