Speaking at the hand-over ceremony of seven computers to students at the Hien Luong Primary and Secondary School on Sunday, CEO of Mitsui Vietnam Company, Hiromitsu Narukama, said that he was very happy to help the students in the area have better access to information technology.
"We've always wanted to contribute to the development of Vietnam, especially education," he said. "Such donations will be included in our long-term plan while operating in the country."

Receiving the donations, headmaster Pham Tien Nam said that on behalf of teachers and students at the school, he wanted to send his sincere thanks to the valuable support of Mitsui Vietnam Company and the Vietnam Study Promotion Fund.
"Due to financial difficulties, we have faced equipment shortages," the teacher said. "These computers are a major gift to us, which we’ve dreamt of for a long time. Thank you so much for such meaningful presents."
Attending the event, vice chairman of the Vietnam Study Promotion Fund's management board, Pham Huy Hoan expressed thanks to the Mitsui Vietnam Company for joining with the fund in this event.
"I hope that the computers will help improve conditions at the school," he said.
