Mr. Park Young-jun assessed that Vietnam and the RoK own advantages for further investment linkages in the interest of the two sides in such areas as energy, mining, trade, industry and construction.
Hence, the Korean Vice Minister recommended the two sides take more practical steps to put energy and mining projects into reality.
At the meeting, both sides inked four Memoranda of Understanding on the construction of Nam Dinh Thermo-electricity Plant, on exploiting the Bao Dai mine and improving mining environment in Vietnam, on stronger cooperation in petroleum exploration and exploitation in Vietnam and third countries, and on surveying valuable minerals in the central province of Nghe An.
The gathering is an annual activity to share information on plans and policies of each country in the areas of power, coal, oil and mining.
