The two are now being treated at the city’s Lung and Tuberculosis Disease Hospital.
A 35-year old man and his 2-year old son who entered the country through Tay Ninh border gate on August 26 and were quarantined at a local healthcare centre also tested positive for the virus on September 7.
The last patient is a 26-year old woman who entered the country through Tay Ninh border gate on August 25.
The three patients are now being isolated and treated at the Tay Ninh General Hospital.
With these new infection cases, the number of imported Covid-19 patients in Vietnam have increased to 363.
The same day, 14 more Covid-19 patients were released from hospital following their full recovery, raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 868. There have been 35 deaths, most of them being the elderly with serious underlying diseases.
At present, 37,474 people who had close contact with Covid-19 patients or returned from virus-hit areas are being monitored at hospitals, quarantine facilities, and at home.
