Both sides said they have strictly realised the common perception of the two countries’ leaders to increase the number of negotiations and boost cooperation for shared development in the waters.
Based on the “Agreement on the basic principles guiding the settlement of sea-related issues between Vietnam and China” signed in October 2010, they exchanged views on the negotiation roadmap and principles reached during the previous rounds.
They agreed to conduct the next round of negotiations in Hanoi in the first half of 2014.
