According to the National Centre for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, northern areas, including Thanh Hoa and Nghe An, are expected to see scattered light rain along with early morning fog and mist. Nights and mornings in the region are likely to remain cold.

From Ha Tinh to eastern Quang Ngai and across the Central Highlands, rain, showers and thunderstorms are forecast from the evening of March 5 through March 6, with some areas experiencing heavy downpours. Scattered rain may continue afterwards.
In southern parts of the country, isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected, with more widespread rainfall likely during the evenings and nights of March 5-6. Daytime conditions in many areas will remain mostly sunny.
Meteorologists warned that thunderstorms could be accompanied by whirlwinds, lightning, hail and strong gusty winds, posing potential risks to residents and outdoor activities.
