
They will be divided into two groups with Brunei, Indonesia, Laos, the Philippines, Singapore and Myanmar in group A and Cambodia, Malaysia, Thailand, Timor Leste and Vietnam in group B.
They will play in round robin format to select the best two teams from each group to enter the semi-finals. The winner will receive a cash prize worth US$15,500.
The tournament provides a good chance for U21 players to prepare for the 2012 AFC U22 Championship, to be held for the first time in July.
The U19 Vietnamese team under chief coach Mai Duc Chung will also participate in the 2012 AFC in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in early November.
