Traffic limited on Hanoi streets for two days

Traffic will be limited on many streets in Hanoi for two days from December 9-10 during the 10th National Patriotic Emulation Congress.

The 10th National Patriotic Emulation Congress is taking place at the National Convention Centre in Hanoi on December 9-10 with the participation of 2,300 delegates.

As such, traffic will be limited on many streets including Pham Hung, Thang Long Avenue, Do Duc Duc, Mieu Dam, Le Quang Dao, Le Duc Tho, Tran Huu Duc, Nguyen Co Thach, Do Xuan Hop, Tran Duy Hung, Nguyen Chi Thanh, etc. between 6-9.30 am, 12-2 pm, 4-6.30 pm, and 7.30 pm-10.30 pm on December 9 and 10.

Drivers will have to strictly follow directions of traffic police on those streets.

During the two-day congress, Hanoi Police will also regulate traffic flows on many streets. For example, vehicles coming from the eastern area including National Highway 5, Hanoi-Hai Phong Expressway to the western area in Vinh Phuc, Phu Tho will have to use Vinh Tuy, Thanh Tri bridges or the Belt Road 3.
