According to the initial information, the three aged between 10 and 18 came to the reservoir to swim on Sunday afternoon.

The local rescue force reached the scene after being informed and by 5:30 pm on the same day had found the bodies of all three in the reservoir.
The victims are a 17-year-old woman, an 18-year-old man and a 10-year-old boy.
The cause of the deaths is still under investigation.
Tri An covers 323 square kilometres, stretching across the districts of Vinh Cuu, Trang Bom and Tan Phu. The reservoir is notorious for several drownings.
