According to a report from local authorities, the fire broke out at a house on Mac Van Street in District 8 at 2.23 am on April 2.
"Some residents noticed the fire at the two-storey house and rushed in to help control it while others called firefighters," the report said. "As the fire spread so violently, five people inside managed to flee.
As firefighters arrived, they found three bodies inside the debris. They were identified as a 46-year-old man, a 27-year-old woman and a six-year-old boy.
Initial investigations showed that the fire might have been caused by the explosion of an electric bike which was being charged at that time.
Authorities investigate the cause of the fire.
