The cases aged between 65 and 81 were treated at Phu Yen General Hospital. They all faced underlying medical conditions, including hypertension and diabetes.

The patients were provided with intensive treatments, including dialysis and ventilator use, but their condition did not improve and died on July 10 and 12.
As of this morning, July 13, Phu Yen confirmed a total of 603 Covid-19 patients. Meanwhile, 74 others are suspected of the Covid-19 infection and they are waiting to be re-tested for official results.
