Rescue team is taking the bodies of tourists out of the Datanla Falls in Da Lat City on February 26.

Officials from Lam Dong Province's Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that three British tourists, two females, Anderson Beth Giserne, 25, and Squire Isoben Mackensie, 19, and one male, Sloan, were involved in an accident while taking part in an expedition tour of the falls.

Vo Anh Tan, deputy general director of Da Lat Tourist Company, said the British tourists had bought tickets from Dam Me Company, which organised the tour illegally and did not give them safety equipment.

A local tour guide said that local tourists rarely booked expedition tours of the site, which is some five kilometres from Da Lat City.

Police is investigating the accident.
