Vice Chairman of the Quang Ngai Provincial People’s Committee Dang Van Minh has received leaders of Triple Win Corporation Company Limited (Thailand).
The company’s representatives proposed to invest a solar power plant with a capacity of 150 megawatt (MW) in coastal Pho An commune, Duc Pho district, 40km south of Quang Ngai city with a total investment of US$ 240 million.
If Quang Ngai province agrees with the project, it will send an expert team to localities for survey in the soonest time.
Minh appreciated the guest’s suggestion and affirmed that Quang Ngai would create favor conditions for the investors to carry out their survey and develop the project.
Minh also requested relevant department leaders to help investor and provide them necessary information relating to the project during their surveying time.
The solar power project will help the province’s ‘green’ growth efforts and provide a ‘green’ power source connected to the national grid.
