Can Tho City, which has met criteria for a Level 1 area which has the lowest Covid-19 infection risks, has reopened shopping malls, supermarkets, restaurants, beauty salons, karaoke parlours, bars and massage services.
Can Tho City, Ben Tre and Soc Trang in south-western Vietnam have resumed the operations of many services and activities
Hotels, hospitality venues, tourist spots, museums and sports activities are also allowed to be reopened from today. However, participants in these activities are required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 or to have recovered from the disease within the past six months. They also need to complete a QR code. Meanwhile, staff of these services have to test for Covid-19 every three days.
Restaurants are allowed to offer on-site dining but customers, but tables are required to ensure a minimum distance of two metres.
Can Tho has reopened all transportation activities, including inter-provincial transportation services.
People from low Covid-19 infection areas do not need to test Covid-19 to come to Can Tho, while those from high-risk areas (levels 3 and 4) still have to take a test.
Ben Tre Province which has been recognised as a Level 2 area has reopened food and drink services, hotels and hospitality venues. However, bars and karaoke parlours are permitted to operate at half capacity.
The province has reopened its transportation activities, but still suspended indoor sports activities.
Soc Trang Province has reopened the operations of restaurants in local green zones. Dining tables have to ensure a safe distance of two metres. The distancing is also applied for the operation of local karaoke parlours, bars and massage services.
