The area around Hoan Kiem Lake became lively as South Korean President Lee Jae Myung and First Lady Kim Hye Kyung appeared.

As part of his state visit to Vietnam, the president and first lady walked around Hoan Kiem Lake without formal protocol, waving to local residents.

While walking around the lake, they stopped at a well-known ice cream shop.

First Lady Kim Hye Kyung selected several ice creams and shared them with members of the delegation.

The unexpected appearance of the South Korean leader drew attention from residents and tourists, many of whom took photos.

The first lady ate ice cream as she walked, taking in the surroundings and waving to the public.

The president and his wife later continued their walk, observing daily life and the surroundings around the lake.

They also paused at a pedestrian crossing at the Trang Tien-Hang Khay-Hang Bai Intersection before crossing and returning to their vehicle.
