The accident happened around 11 pm on Sunday at Hoa Binh 1 Bridge in Hoa Binh City.

According to the initial information, at 10 pm on December 8, Hong Seok Joo, 45, and Lee Wonhyuk, 37, travelled from Hanoi to Hoa Binh for a holiday. They rented a hotel room in Tan Thinh Ward, Hoa Binh City.
Around one hour later, they left the hotel on a motorbike. Upon reaching Hoa Binh 1 Bridge, the motorbike driven by Hong Seok Joo suddenly crashed into the rigid median barrier on the right side of the bridge.
As a result, Lee Wonhyuk died at the scene, while Hong Seok Joo was injured and quickly taken to Hoa Binh General Hospital for treatment.
The police are currently investigating the accident.
