Barriers and warning signs along the road to Ban Co Peak on Son Tra Peninsula have been removed
Following an announcement from the committee, people can travel to Son Tra as usual from 6 am on October 28.
Earlier, the committee had to apply a ban to the area as many spots on Son Tra Mountain were vulnerable to landslides, posing dangers to visitors.
Large cracks had appeared along the path to Ban Co Peak, with multiple slopes eroding and rocks and soil spilling near the roadside, creating potential hazards for passing vehicles. Ban Co Peak recently became a popular tourist spot in Danang after American billionaire Bill Gates visited in March.
The landslide situation in the area has worsened due to the impact of recent heavy rain.
Authorities had to set up barriers and warning signs along the road to Ban Co Peak to alert travellers of risks when Storm Trami swept through the city.
