Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong was released from hospital on February 18, two days after a surgery to remove his prostate.

After returning home, the PM posted a message on his social network, announcing that he was allowed to go home for the Chinese New Year.

Lee Hsien Long was diagnosed with prostate cancer and had his prostate gland removed in an operation on February 16.

Professor Christopher Chen, who conducted the surgery, said the PM should make a full recovery after the operation.
