The police in Yen Phong District have detained Nguyen Thi Anh Tuyet, 34, from Quang Ngai Province who is the owner of a pan-fried scrambled egg rice cake restaurant named Mien Trung.

Tuyet was accused of beating the two male staff members, one aged 21 and the other aged 15.
According to the victims, they are both from Tuyet’s hometown in Quang Ngai Province. Since working for her restaurant early this year, they have been beaten and tortured by Tuyet and her husband for many times.
Tuyet stabbed into the 15-year-old boy's arm with a knife, leaving a big injury on his arm. She used a pestle and spike-board to hit him, breaking many of his teeth.

The owner also used a spike-board to hit his back.
They were even starved daily so they had to eat leftovers for survival; meanwhile, they have not received the monthly salary.
Tuyet also smashed the two employees’ mobile phones to prevent them from using it and contacting their family.
The police have continued investigating the case.
