On September 2, the donation was granted through the newspaper to Truong Ngoc Luong in Phu Minh Commune.
Luong and his mother has received the donation
Luong, 15 years old, has experienced three operations on a brain tumour. He is undergoing radiation therapy in K Hospital in Hanoi.
Luong has been living with his mother, Nguyen Thi Huong, since 2018 when her parents divorced; meanwhile, his brothers have been with his paternal grandmother.
Huong said that her family has been heavily in debt over the past two years since Luong’s sickness. These days, Luong’s condition has worsened, so she has to rent a room near the hospital to be convenient for the treatment.

Huong has incurred a debt of hundreds of millions of VND. The mother is now jobless due to Covid-19.
Huong expressed her deep thanks to the community for the financial support amid the pandemic.
