The animals were released in Sub-zone 414, a forest area managed by the national park, after undergoing rescue, care and rehabilitation.
They had been assessed as healthy and capable of surviving and foraging independently in the wild.

The 31 animals included two Sunda pangolins, 17 elongated tortoises and five impressed tortoises, as well as striped-necked turtles, white-bellied hornbills, pig-tailed macaques, pygmy slow lorises, Asian giant pond turtles, reticulated pythons and water monitors.
Before their release, the animals underwent health and survival assessments, while transportation and release procedures were carried out under technical guidelines to ensure their safety.
The release was conducted and supervised by the Kon Ka Kinh National Park's wildlife rescue, conservation and development centre, forest rangers and local authorities.
The animals will continue to be monitored to assess how well they adapt to their natural habitat.
The release is part of efforts to restore and maintain wildlife populations and support biodiversity conservation at Kon Ka Kinh National Park.
