A woman living in HCM City gave birth to three boys and two girls at Tu Du Obstetrics Hospital on March 17.

The babies who were born after 33.5 weeks of gestation were delivered through caesarean section by doctors from the hospital.
They were all in good health conditions, with their birth weights ranging from 1.3kg to 2kg.
After the operation, the newborns remain in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), while their mother, 28 years old, was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
The infants were said to be conceived through in vitro fertilization.
Quintuplet pregnancy is rare in Vietnam. In June 2012, a woman, 33 years old from Dong Thap province, gave birth to four girls conceived naturally at Tu Du Obstetrics Hospital.
