The Lam Dong Province Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said on September 2 that the locality welcomed about 680,000 visitors during this year’s National Day holiday from August 29 to September 2, up 15 per cent from the same period in 2025. Tourism revenue during the period was estimated at more than VND 1.4 trillion (about USD 53.8 million).

Nguyen Lan Ngoc, deputy director of the Lam Dong Province Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said hotel and guesthouse stays across the province were concentrated between August 29 and September 1. Average occupancy reached about 65-70 per cent, while three- to five-star hotels recorded around 80-85 per cent. At the peak from August 30 to September 1, many establishments were fully booked.
According to the department, tourism activities across Lam Dong Province during the National Day holiday were vibrant, safe and effective. During the five-day break, the locality hosted a range of arts programmes and events to meet demand for sightseeing, holidays and entertainment among residents and visitors.

In particular, the reopening of Lien Khuong International Airport on August 19 after a five-month closure for repairs made it easier for Lam Dong to connect with domestic and international tourism markets, helping attract more visitors to the province.
